Chef Poon’s most recent offering, “Seafood dining with Chef Poon“ is an enjoyable and exciting learning experience. Chef hosts you and your private group at one of his favorite Asian restaurants for a special menu created by him and painstakingly prepared for his dinner guests. As you enjoy one seafood entree after another, Chef teaches you how to tell if the seafood is really fresh and how to properly eat different types of fish as he shares his recipes and secrets discovered over the years as an important player in Philadelphia restaurant history. Entrees include an eight item hotpot creation, whole shrimp appetizer plate, giant scallop, oysters, sea urchin and more. These dinners take place between 5 and 7 pm and can be booked exclusively with Chef Poon.

If you are a group of only two, we will be scheduling these private chef dining opportunities every month or so throughout the year. How do you eat fresh shrimp prepared Asian style and how do you attempt to eat it properly? You may be served the largest scallop you’ve ever seen. Chef Poon will teach you everything you wanted to know about eating fresh and eating healthy as you experience the tastes and culinary delights of some of the best seafood to be found. A $15 per person deposit is collected per reservation.
